Free Next.js hosting

Free Next.js hosting and deploy from Git on HostKB — builds, HTTPS, and logs included.

  • Free application hosting so you can deploy Next.js without renting a VPS first
  • Works with Next.js apps that build to a Node server or standalone output
  • Enable auto-deploy so every push can rebuild and ship
  • Git-based deployments with builds, HTTPS, custom domains, and real-time logs
  • Optional auto-deploy on push for continuous deployment

How to deploy Next.js on HostKB

Free deployment from Git: connect repo → build → deploy → HTTPS URL.

  1. Create a free HostKB account and open a project.
  2. Create an application with source type Git Repository (deploy from GitHub guide).
  3. Add a Dockerfile (or use Railpack when available) so the platform can build your Next.js app.
  4. Set environment variables, then click Build and Deploy.
  5. Open your app URL and attach a custom domain when you go live.

Next.js Dockerfile tip

Prefer output: 'standalone' in next.config and a Dockerfile that copies the standalone server, then run node server.js listening on 0.0.0.0.

Why use HostKB for Next.js

  • One place to host and deploy — free to start, grow when you need
  • Works for APIs, web apps, and containerized services — not only static sites
  • Scale later with app sizes without changing your Git workflow
