No. The free hosting plan is for ongoing use within plan limits. You can deploy production apps from day one and upgrade later if you need larger app sizes or more resources.

How do I deploy an app from Git?
Create an account, add a project and application, connect your repository, set environment variables, then build and deploy from the dashboard. Auto-deploy can publish on every push when enabled.

Yes. Attach your own domain to an application and HostKB provisions HTTPS certificates so traffic is served securely.
Can I scale app resources later?
Yes. Choose an app size that fits your workload and adjust CPU, memory, and related limits as your application grows.
Do you offer a free PostgreSQL database?
Yes. After you sign in, open Managed Databases and create a free PostgreSQL database (1 GB entitlement, versions 16/17/18). Free databases do not include HostKB-managed backup and restore — you can still self-backup with pg_dump. Use Dedicated when you need platform backups or more capacity.
