Terms of Service

Rules for using HostKB Cloud (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

HostKB Cloud provides application hosting, builds, deployments, managed domains/HTTPS, and related developer tools, including optional managed PostgreSQL. Features and limits depend on your plan.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and organization.
  • You must be able to enter into a binding agreement (typically 18+).

3. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the AUP.

4. Plans, billing, and free tiers

  • Free and paid plan limits are described on our Pricing page and in the product billing UI.
  • Paid usage (including extra apps or size upgrades) may require approval and is billed as shown in-product.
  • Prices are generally in INR unless stated otherwise. Taxes may apply.
  • We may change plans or pricing with notice; continued use after the change may constitute acceptance.

5. Your content and applications

  • You retain ownership of code, data, and content you deploy.
  • You grant us a limited license to host, run, and process that content solely to provide the Service.
  • You are responsible for licenses, secrets, and compliance of software you run on the platform.

6. Availability and support

We aim for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Support is provided via the channels listed on the Contact page. Managed backups and SLAs depend on the product tier (for example, free shared PostgreSQL may not include HostKB-managed backup/restore).

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, legal risk, or material breach. Upon termination, we may delete workloads and data after a reasonable retention window, except where law requires longer retention.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent allowed, HostKB Cloud is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim (or zero if you only used a free tier).

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
